FELLOWSHIP – PART I (SPIRITUAL)

INTRODUCTION:

It is very important for all of us those who have got saved by the blood of Jesus to Have defined fellowship spiritually and materialistically.
As written in I john 1: 3 “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.”, we need to have our fellowship with the Father and his son Jesus Christ.

APOSTLE’S DOCTRINE AND HOLY SPIRIT:

This above said is only feasible when we are bound to the Apostle’s doctrine and having received Holy Spirit in us. Because we know that the purpose of Holy Spirit is to teach and bring remembrance of all things said by Jesus Christ. This was said in John 14:26 as:

John 14:26 : “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you”

As written in John 16: 13, Holy Spirit will guide us in THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH

John 16: 13: “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come”

We can attain HOLINESS only through the Holy Spirit. Because the scripture says God loves holiness

Malachi 2:11 – “Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god”

I Peter 1:15 – “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

REJECTED IN THIS WORLD???:

Friends when you are rejected or disappointed in this world, remember that Jesus was also rejected in this world prior to us. Since we are his children, the world will obviously reject us.

John 15: 18-19 – “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

But be strengthened by his holy spirit for he will not put us in shame. This is what said in Romans 5: 5.

Romans 5:5 – “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
John 15:3 – “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.”


FAITH IN JESUS:

We need to be careful on our faith upon Jesus. Men those have faith in Christ only for the purpose of their present material life are considered most miserable as per the scripture.

I Cor 15:19 – “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.”

Our faith in Christ should be always seeking his kingdom and his righteousness. Because we know that when seek that all things needed in this material life will be added unto us.

Mathews 6:33 – “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Also, we know that the definition of faith as per the scripture is:

Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” which is nothing about the eternity. So have your faith on eternal things promised by our God.

As the below scriptures says, we need to fight of faith to attain the eternal life.

I Timothy 6:12 – “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

MAN IS SPECIAL THAN ANGELS IN GOD’S VIEW :

God has created Men in very special way in such a way that angels are also curious about it. Also, God has made the angels to minister us as said in the following verses

Hebrews 1:14 –“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”
Psalms 91:11, 12 – “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”
As written in Daniel 9:21 – “Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.” The angel ‘Gabriel’ was ministering Daniel after his prayer.



CONCLUSION:

Coming back to the fellowship, once we are into Christ and stand firm through Apostle’s doctrine and Holy Spirit, we will then become fellow citizens of saints and household of God as written in below verses :

Ephesians 2: 18 to 20 – “For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;”

To stand firm in the above said fellowship until we attain the eternal life is feasible only when we have love in Christ. Love in Christ can be possible only when we keepeth his commandments. With this we are also loved by Father and Holy Spirit in us will be of joy obviously as told in the below verses:

John 14:21 to 23 – “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”


Jesus also said that the doctrine is not from his own and its from the father, so only father loves whoever accepts the doctrine and love Christ as said below:

John 7:16, 17 – “Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.”

PRAISE THE LORD JESUS !!!!!!!

PRIDE AND FALL OF LUCIFER

Friends we all know that there existed Angelic world before God created this material world. In the Angelic world, the angels always keep praising our Lord Jesus. Among those angels is Lucifer (Satan, the fallen angel) who was made as the head.

God made Lucifer more special by giving him all power, beauty and wisdom as described in the below scripts:

Ezekiel 28: 11-17 – “Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying.

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.”

PRIDE in Lucifer:

After god has given everything to Lucifer, Pride came into his heart and therefore he has been pushed down because of which the deep hell was formed. As said in the below verses, Lucifer just had a thought of pride in his mind because of which he was pushed down.

Isaiah 14:12-15 – “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”

How waters came to the world?

The below verses from John I chapter says All things were made by God (with his word).

John 1: 1-3 –“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

But when we look into the first two verses from Genesis, immediately after first verse three things were mentioned without they were created whereas other things were created as from verse 3 onwards. Those three things were DARKNESS, DEEP and WATER.

Genesis 1: 1-2 –“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

From the beginning of the message we can see that DEEP and DARKNESS were created because in the period of angelic world Lucifer was pushed down were it happened. So where the water has come from then?

As said in the below verse the waters came in when god uttered after pushing down Lucifer.

Jeremiah 10:13 –“When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens……”

PRIDE in Herod:

Similarly we know that what happened to King Herod when had the pride in him while people were praising him as LORD as written in the below scriptures:

Acts 12: 21-23 – “And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.

And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.

And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.”

Avoid Pride

So it is very important for us not to have Pride in us. Because we should always remember that we are saved by his grace and not by ourselves as in the below verse

“Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

Also as the below verse says we should not seek own glory

John 7:18 – “He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.”

PRAISE THE LORD !!!!!!!

REPENT AND SEALED BY HOLY SPIRIT

It was a gloomy day and rain was pouring heavily on Nov 08' 2009 Sunday in Chennai. The entire city was flooded and caused lot of traffic nuisance. Amidst all these trouble LORD has brought his beloved sons and daughters for the Sunday sermon to praise his HOLINESS.

Again the devil started his work before the prayer by taking off the electricity. There started the pastor's preaching even in the dark.

ABOUT DARK:

Micah 7: 8 says

“Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me”.

Yes, even in the darkness the LORD was light for us on that Day. So how do we get his light?

Pastor preached the following verses:

Psalms 34:5, II Corinthians 4:6, Psalms 119: 105. With the help of Holy Spirit we are always lightened and strengthened inside by LORD.

ABOUT RAIN:

Then he started speaking about the weather report since it was raining heavily the whole week. He told several times the weather report fails. He said there is a weather research centre and report exists already which gives the correct report always. Yes, that is our Bible.

He referred the following verses

1. Mathews 24: 37 - 40. As it is written during coming of the Son of Man, things happened during the period of Noah will repeat but still there will be people who never repent. So dear brothers and sisters things happening nowadays is for his children to repent and come back to him. All stories of Noah and other things from old and new testaments were written as an example so that we shouldn't repeat those mistakes.

2. Deuteronomy 28: 12 talks about the blessed rain. When we read from verse 1 we can see lot blessings given for the people those obey LORD.

3. II Chronicles 7: 13-14 says when there is no rain and when his children pray for the same, GOD bless them with rain

4. Acts 14: 16-17 says that, though people walked on their own ways during past times, God blessed them with all good rain

5. Acts 17: 30 - As told in the above point, they were blessed because those periods were called as times of ignorance. God says that now the wisdom and Knowledge is abundant. We know even the yesterday born are very sharp today. It’s high time for us to prepare ourselves to meet our Jesus Christ and it’s also very important to repent.

6. II Peters 3:9 - Lot of people have a question about when is the coming of Jesus. There were people who believe that his second coming is not true and all Christians are making fool of saying Lion is coming story. Truly this verse says that the delay is to avoid any men perish and come to the repentance. Yes it’s the grace time given for us to repent. Let’s not lose this and our father's love.

7. Luke 13: 4-5 says what happened to those people who were not ready to Repent. SO IT’S VERY IMPORTANT FOR US TO REPENT AND TURN TO LORD IN ORDER TO ESCAPE FROM HIS ANGER

ABOUT HOT:

1. Rev 16: 8 says why the sunny days are getting worse as the years moves on. It again says that people blasphemed the name of God when they were scorched with great heat and they are not ready to repent.

2. Romans 1: 20-25 says why they are not ready to Repent. The word says we are not ready to accept because we claim ourselves as wise because of the technological era where we are living.

How TO ESCAPE FROM THE SCORCH OF GREAT HEAT:

1. ISIAH 4:6 says "And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain". This is a promise for his children.

2. Psalms 121: 5-8 promises great things as stated in verse 6 as "The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night"

Being children of Jesus Chist we shouldn't get scorched with great heat even on hot sunny days. Meditate the above promises and get saved today.

ABOUT WIND:

Even in the seashore there is no breeze nowadays. What is the reason for this?

1. Rev 7: 1-3 says that angels are blocking the wind from entering into the earth. But not completely because another angel shouted at them not to destroy anything till he completes sealing all the foreheads of men who serve GOD.

What is that seal the other angel was talking about?

According to the verse Ephesians 4: 30, the seal is nothing but the HOLY SPIRIT.

Dear friends it’s very important for us to receive the HOLY SPIRIT. Without Holy Spirit nobody gets into God's kingdom. Even though we are baptized, regular to church and saved but we need to get sealed by HOLY SPIRIT in order to reach the destiny.

HOW TO GET HOLY SPIRIT:

Bible says in Luke 11: 13 as " If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”

IT IS MUCH MORE COMMITED AND PROMISED BY OUR HEAVENLY FATHER TO GIVE HOLY SPIRIT FOR THOSE WHO ASK HIM. PLEASE PRAY FOR THE SAME AND RECEIVE IT.

REPENT, CONFESS, ASK FOR HOLY SPIRIT AND SEALED BY THE SAME AND KEEP WALKING IN HIS WAYS TILL THE END.

GLORY TO JESUS, PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ONENESS

Friends it’s very important for every one of us to be united and have oneness in our holy spirit. Oneness should be there at different levels:

1. Level 1 : Oneness in Self
2. Level2 : Oneness in Family
3. Level 3: Oneness in the church

ONENESS IN SELF:

In psalms 86: 11 David prays to God as “Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name”. He seeks oneness in his heart from our Lord.

Also the verse says in James 1:8 as “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways”. Verses 5 to 7 in the same chapters also tells that seek god for wisdom with good faith but not wavering. Because we know those who waver will not get the things from our lord. So it’s very important for us to seek him with faith for which oneness in self is primary thing.

The following verse from Luke 16: 13 says that “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon”. So it’s important for us to understand that bringing Oneness in self and serving our Holy Lord is necessary.

ONENESS IN FAMILY:

It is hard to move forward and grow in spirit when there is no oneness in the family. As the below verse from Amos 3:3 says “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” it’s very difficult to grow together when there is no unity.

Acts 10:2 talks about Cornelius as “A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always”.

Also we know what happened to Paul and Barnabas, when they found there is no oneness in their spirit as explained in the following verses: Acts 15: 37-38. From there we don’t find the history of Barnabas in the bible whereas Paul continued.

Also it’s said in the bible in the book of Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 about the rewards for being united and having oneness. Verse 9 says like this “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour”

BUT WE SHOULD BE VERY CAREFULL IN BRINGING ONENESS BECAUSE WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO ANANIAS AND SAPPHIRA WHEN THEY AGREED TOGETHER TO TEMPT THE SPIRIT OF LORD AS WRITTEN IN ACTS 5:1-10.

It is very important for every husband and wife to bring oneness in the family by living in the way of God given in bible.

A good wife should possess following as written in bible:

1. Ephesians 5: 22-24 says :

“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.”

2. I timothy 2:11-15 says:

“Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety”

3. Also the verse I Timothy 2:9-10 says how a woman should adorn herself as below :

“In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works”

4. I Corinthians 14:34-35 says how a woman should behave in the church as follows :

“Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church”.

I Samuel 25 talks about how wisely a woman acted to calm down David’s anger. But we also see how Jezebel acted cruelly to make his husband, Ahab happy. It is written in I Kings 21:25 as “But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.” So woman should act wisely to support his husband in proper way as directed by Holy Spirit.

Qualities of a good husband as written in the bible:

1. Ephesians 5: 25-28 says

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.”

2. Also the verse I Timothy 2:8 says how a man should behave as below :

“I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting”

Husbands should be very careful in listening to his wife as we know how Adam-Eve failed. The same happened with Ananias-Spphira and Ahab-Jezebel.

ONENESS IN THE CHURCH:

Friends as given in the following verse from Ephesians 5:30 “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones”, being in church we are different parts of the same body. So nobody hates his own flesh as stated in verse 29 “For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church”. It is very important for us to be always united and have oneness in our spirits. Ephesians 4:1-4 says the following

“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;”

Hebrews 10:24, 25 says the following

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching”

In Acts 2:1-14, we see the blessings of Holy Spirit when they were all united and praying to Lord. Also in Zephaniah 3: 9, it is given the blessing as:

“For then will I turn to the people a pure language that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent”
